A Crafty GiveAway........

........My days have been full....... full of nothing much exciting to tell you about but full nonetheless .... I have finished with a craft! And that is always exciting...... and a momentous occasion. :) I have made my last coaster. I have taken an idea that hit me while exploring Home Depot and made it work to my satisfaction ........ and i've been using some for a few months now and they are performing brilliantly....so....... unless i somehow lose the ones i have or someone begs me to make them some i'am ready to step away from this craft. ;)
Now for the GiveAway.... Do you use coasters?? If you do and you would like a set of 4 of these coasters then leave me a comment below telling me you want to be in the GiveAway. If your name is drawn you will have to tell me if you want the 4 in the back row of the above picture or the 4 in the front. The 4 in the back have a little more rust color to them the 4 in the front more gray... but they both resemble slate.
Rules, rules, rules.......there are always rules....... :)
1. Must be a Follower
2.Must leave me a comment stating you want to be in the GiveAway.
3. If i pull your name i will announce it on this blog and try to contact you thru email or leave a comment on your blog. Its your responsibility to make sure i can get a hold of you or you make sure you check back when the GiveAway ends...
4. Once i announce the winner on the blog you will have 48 hours to get me your snail mail address.  You can reach me at nuleaf@comcast.net
5. This GiveAway is for U.S. residents only. I really hate to put that in there because i have alot of bloggy friends all over the world. But the last time i mailed something out of country the sticker price was quite a shock......

Okay bases covered........... Lets see when should i draw a name...... I hate to let these things go on too long....... Lets say... Monday Oct 13 th  while having coffee in the morning i will pick a name!
Ofcourse there is the distinct possibility i 'am the only one who still uses coaster.......????? Or would enjoy these...we'll see....

I have had my nose in a VERY good book! O My Gosh a good book! Few are the books that keep me guessing to the end........ Just when i thought i had it all figured out Mr. Koontz throws a kink in there to make me second guess myself..........and that happened not once but several times........ AND then he frustrates me further by some of the characters learning the truth but not revealing it to the reader.........kinda like Na na nana na.......i know the secret and you don't...... Really a creative bit of writing here........ This book was written back in 1986 i think and it is definitely one of his finest works..... If you do decide to read i urge you to resist the very real temptation to take a peek at the ending.......it will ruin everything........ Thank you Mr. Koontz for a fantastic read......

I may be missing in action around here a little more than usual as i'am trying to prepare for a party!  Oh i have been a visitor of Ms. Vanessa's Halloween Party for years and have enjoyed it every year. This year when she put the call out for participants some ghostly entity took control of my hands and i put my name in the hat....... So now i 'm figuring out how in the world i'am going to come up with a Halloween Party post with limited decorations and goodies....... But i'm up for the challenge ... i hope... and i will come up with something....... This year will be just a break the ice kind of thing.....you know.....Just Do It.... get my feet wet...... I find it encouraging that from previous years i know that some people go all out and some don't , shoot some forget...... so i know whatever i come up with will be okay. :)  If you interested just click on the picture up there.   Big big Hugs! deb

PS Did you see the finished fishy up there??? :)I'm linking to Paint Party Friday to show the finished fishy .....

......and Friday Sketches over there with Dion Dior.......

Love your coasters but alas, as a Canadian I don't qualify to enter your draw!

OH wow, such a lot to talk about today. First that link was a great place to visit. Oh, no FIRST!!! I LOVE your banner...LOVE IT. Second, no your coasters are great but we don't use them anymore. I keep the endtable covered with rag woven rugs. That way when the kids spill, I don't have a clean up job, just toss and wash.

Oh, Dean Koontz..yes! I think I read Strangers a long time ago. I think his work was better back then but he is still one of my fav authors.

Good luck on the party. I'm sure you will be very creative.
xx, Carol

Yes, I noticed the finished fishy! I love all the warty scales. They must have taken forever! Why does she have a pearl on her forehead? lol.

I would love a set of coasters (the top row)! Who doesn't use coasters anymore? Don't people care about their furniture these days?

I will have a U.S. mailing address for the 1st week in November;-) Does that count?

I love coasters too and I use them-I love the ones in the back row the best-and yes please enter me in the giveaway.
I feel bad too that the overseas mail has gotten sooo expensive. a 4 oz bar of my soap costs 17.00-craziness.
enjoy the party!!

Love your coasters, but we actually don't use them. I think it is the tiny house syndrome. Where to store them was a problem.

I'm glad to see you finished the fish.....LOVE it!
Yes, I still use coasters, but I'm up to my eyeballs in them, so I need to pass on the give away......but I'd take the fish....LOL

I've read many Dean Koontz and agree that his ending are unpredictable.....that's why I like his work.

Brilliant fishy header. He certainly gets your attention from the off ;D
I use coasters as my Mum never let us put a glass or cup down on wood without one.
I'm overseas so will wish everyone else good luck and enjoy your gorgeous designs.
By the way I thought I was already a follower but not sure so I've pressed the button again)
I have to admit that I've not read any of Mr. Koontz books but I'm always interested in hearing recommendations so he's on my list.
Thanks and Happy PPF to you
xoxo

Your coasters are beautiful. Some lucky person will get them. I would love to be that person, but I live in Canada. I totally understand though. Postage is high enough in-Country; International is much worse.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I really appreciate your sweet words.
Blessing hugs,
Teresa

Your coasters are lovely! lol How beautiful. I admit it--I, too, can get caught up in a good book and forget everything but the storyline. LOL
