Busy as a Bee.............

.......Maybe you can pick them out.......   There must be at least a dozen busy little bees in that lavender photo.... They are just covered! Wouldn't you just love to get a hold of some lavender honey?? I'm not even a big fan of honey but it sounds scrumptious.

I apologize for the blurry photo....... Its a postcard done with acrylic paint and cutting and pasting on a cereal box chipboard ... Lots of fun for the times i needed a break........ Its winging its way to a special friend who's feeling a little under the weather....

LOOK ! at that nice clean craftroom!! Now if i always had that much space... lol ... But you can see i've kept myself some crafty stuff out and i have my nice fluffy pillow to sit on and my cup of coffee for all my fellow T Day visitors.... Doesn't the sun just feel delicious this time of year?! Not too hot ... just right....

Hubby pulled over to help someone with a tire this weekend and i entertained myself with the camera.... I have no idea what those yellow flowers are but they are everywhere..... covering whole hillsides around here... I hope you'll click on the pic to enlarge it as it is quite lovely large. The foreground is a little fuzzy and i kinda like it........

My patience paid off and i captured a Red-winged blackbird while sitting on the side of the road. There were several of them flitting around but they would never hold still for very long...... I think he's a beauty!!! Well i hope you had a fan~tabulous weekend! The packing is winding down around here ...I really only have the kitchen to worry about and a few odds and ends.... whew...  I hope you'll join me visiting all my fellow Tea Drinkers this week....

Love your postcard! I still say you need an agent to get your work published!

Love the photos as well. Nice of hubby to stop and help someone. So many people don't do that any more.

You make beautiful art. Some lucky soul is going to have a miniature masterpiece on their hands soon.

I remember when my craft room was bare, too. It felt SO big. I can see you left out a few things you didn't pack, but I suspect the rest of the packing will be relatively quick.

Enjoyed seeing that you are comfy and cozy in time to join in with your cup of coffee this week.

Your flower photos are wonderful. I had no idea even what the bird was called, and I have even less knowledge of the flowers. I can still enjoy them, even if I can't identify them (grin).

Thanks for sharing T with us this week with your lovely art and your great nature photos. Relax and enjoy that cuppa.

Love the art and the pictures. That lavender is fantastic. I am partial to purple flowers. Not warm enough to get outside here yet...but soon.

Hope your packing is going well. Glad you found time to feed your soul.
xx, Carol

I love your dangling feathers card deb! My lavender bush won't bloom for some months yet and I can't wait. I remember bringing lavender honey home from a trip to France -and although I am not a sweets person it was just special to add a bit to my tea-and it made for some great scone like biscuits:)Those little yellow flowers are beautiful but I have no idea what they are. Nice that you were able to enjoy your surroundings whilst your hubby was so kindly helping someone out. Happy T day!

Great post card, someone is going to be lucky when the mail is delivered. At first I though your yellow flowers were mustard but enlarged the photo and not sure what they are. Pretty tho.

Well where to start!? The lavender made my heart quiver, I LOVE lavender! Your feather piece is superb and very covetable. It is bound to give instant healing for your friends morale.
Does your bare studio make you feel sad or are you a 'glass half full' gal and look forward to setting up your new space? Your chair looks very comfy btw.
Your hubs is a rare gentleman and your photographs are fabulous. The yellow looks like rapeseed, we have fields of it around us - well we will in a couple of months when it's warmer. It lights up the area but oh does it also cause misery for hay fever sufferers; Wee Man included.
And last, but not least, that bird is beautiful, well captured!!
Enjoy the rest of your week Deb - well as much as you can eh - {{Hugs}} :o) x

The postcard is beautiful. And it is lovely seeing the lavender. We are still in the grip of snow, but at least the asphalt has broken through. I believe the yellow flowers are mustard plants.

Hello and Happy T Day! First, thank you for sharing the beautiful flowers for us, love them. We are at the end of winter and all I want to see is green grass and some flowers, yours were just what I needed.

Your postcard is beautiful and the receiver will feel so special getting it. YAY for a clean space, always feels good doesn't it.

WOW, my hubby would love to see the bird, great photo!

Have a great week and enjoy the delicious sun.

Oooh YOU Have SPRING! We are not even close yet, although a chinook blew through last week and melted all the snow and it was a balmy -2C this morning Whoo Hoo (I live in Alberta, Canada, snug up against the Rocky Mountains) What a lovely reminder of what Spring looks like! Thanks for allowing me to share your tea!

Happy post for some lucky person Deb, they're sure to feel better receiving this postcard.
I'm rattling around my art room today having just moved back in. Hopefully it'll feel like home soon.
Gorgeous red-winged blackbird. I have to confess I've never seen one and those yellow flowers are so springlike.
Good luck with the last push of packing ;D
Have a fan-tabulous weekend too
xoxo
