Sending you a Cool Breeze.........

                                 ..............on a hot summer's day...............
We had a delicious deluge one day last week.
Right in the middle of some very hot , muggy days

It just let loose............ We were hanging
sheet rock downstairs and i just had to stop and
take a few photos................

We seem to be photo happy around here lately
as you'll soon see in the new few posts...... Pssst
........I hope you like wild animals........

For all my Tea People here is a sneak peek...
Look who i had coffee with this morning... If you
enlarge the photo by clicking on it you might be
able to tell that that's a buck....... They visit
                              almost every morning and evening........
                                       stay tuned........

Well this is what's been happening around
                              here.......

Lots and lots of it....... I'm getting
rather proficient at it ....lol ... uuugh

Strip after strip after strip... i swear
its never going to end...... but i know
it will and thats what keeps me going.
The house is only so big.... Its got to come
to an end sooner or later...... right?

There's even been some sheetrock finding its
way up on the wall.... YES! I have some
                               walls again!

I hope you like the PostCard header....... I have several of these butterfly wings and more of the security envelope paper......  Having fun just seeing what i can come up with..... The white spots on this one is actually metallic silver from a paint pen... It just doesn't scan well....... I love the quote....... and i hope you find your One Joy this week.  Hugs! deb

That rain looks so cooling and cleansing! Yay for having some walls up. You have the right attitude...there are only so many walls! Love the butterfly card!

Love your header and the quote. Love your visitors too!We are heading towards spring here so it is getting warmer. But when the rain comes, it lasts a couple of days. I am afraid of summer, it will be torrid but at least we have more 5 months till it gets here.Happy Tday!

I hate to say this Deb, but I'm sick of rain. Rain here doesn't cool the air, only raises the humidity and brings out even more mosquitoes. So I'm ready for the cooler days that I hope will be here in a month or so.

Love the photo of the deer and your mug. That's a GREAT photo. And it just goes to show what living in the country can bring.

I don't envy you those walls or the insulation. Next comes the mudding and sanding, more mudding, more sanding. Seems I've been there before (grin).

Thanks for sharing your lovely photo of the deer and mug, as well as your rain and insulated walls with us for T this week.

It is pouring rain right now as I comment on your blog. We have had too much rain. I use to love seeing the deer come in our yard, which is rare where we live now. That is until I saw them in my raised veggie beds eating all my green beans. HA! HA! I see that you all have been very busy. Love seeing what you are doing to your new home.

OMGosh!! You finished the post with the answer to the question that was swirling in my mind about that HEADER!! I love everything about it. The proverb is so true and made me pause for a moment to realize how true it is.

Well, the house is coming along. Hopefully it will be ready for the holidays...did I say THAT!!
xx, Carol

Your butterfly card is gorgeous with perfect words too Deb!
Seeing your deer they look nice.
We have been having night time visitors who are eating all of the hostas. I was OK with that UNTIL they started on my snap dragons and hydrangea! Those naughty things...so we are building barricades with chairs and shutters and oh my fighting a losing battle me thinks!
I Love nature...just wish these guys would eat some other things than my prize plants. Oh Well...sorry to rant.
Your rain and deer look lovely!
Seeing the pink insulation makes me itch...brings back memories of long ago. Your walls are coming along great!
Happy T Day oxo

Tea with deer, what a treat!

I do admire your ability to do all this work yourself. Y'all will be so proud when it's done :)

Thank you for the cool breeze--I needed it! I enjoyed seeing the deer for tea, as well. And your cup is so pretty!

Good luck with all the insulating and sheet rocking. It looks like your're making good progress.

I had to linger over those rain photo's. It has been so long since we've had any rain I've almost forgotten what it looks like. I like that mug and your window view too.

It's lovely to see that you are getting there bit by bit. Just think how proud you will be when it is all exactly as you want it.

Love the rain, the deer, the quote, and all you are getting done. I found out when I was helping with installation once that I have a reaction to insulation and almost couldn't breathe. So I wouldn't be over till the sheet rock was up--LOL! Happy T-Day! :)

You have quite gorgeous views outside your new home! and I am sure the view inside is improving too... ;) love your new header photo too. happy T day!

So glad you finally got some much needed rain! How nice to see deer come so close to your house. My daughter lives in a green belt and they come right up to beside the house which is nice except she cannot have a garden. They either eat it or step on it!

Love your butterfly projects! Once you get your house finished, get an agent and start selling your art! It's awesome.

Love your tea mug. We too have deer here but they don't come this close. Such a pleasant sight in the mornings!Your postcard header looks beautiful
Happy Tday

I love the rain pictures and the deer are great to come by for coffee each morning.

Things (walls) are really starting to take shape, doesn't that insulation make you itch? It makes me itch just looking at the pictures....LOL

I actually had to go on You Tube to get the God's eye thing......it's been more years than I want to think about, since I made one. I know they are supposed to be colorful with an "eye" color in the center....but they wanted to do an all white one. Who am I to say NO that's not right???? When all summer I have repeatedly said "There is no wrong art"

Love the header and thanks for the shot out last week, I can't wait to share the PC you sent me. I'm going to have to HAVE something interesting now that Camp Grandma is closed.......LOL

Thanks for the T-day visit.

Saw your comment but not your email, and who says cyberspace works well. Yes, space is always shifting really because you move stuff around to suit what you are making at the moment. You will have a wonderful space there. Nice to feel settled in your new home I imagine. Even if it isn't done yet. xox
