You are One of my Nicest Thoughts..........

............Rain... glorious rain!!! Yesterday and last night must have brought us close to 3 inches of much much needed rain..... In truth its only a drop in the bucket of how much we really need but beggars can't be choosers so we'll take it!   It rolled in with some thunder and lightning and a little wind but thankfully nothing bad and as i sit here typing this more storms are rolling in... Everything is very very calm... I can hear the little peeper frogs peeping outside....

....another sketch in the sketch book.... who am i kidding... I'll keep drawing in this lined book until i fill it up...I like to complete things... walking away from this book now , leaving it half empty would bother me...lol

......and here i colored it.... lots of fun while watching TV... speaking of TV... the Walking Dead comes on tonite so i can't linger here.....Its really the only show i'm involved in on TV lately... We like Fixer Upper.... go figure huh? lol American Pickers... Planet Earth II  ,  Expedition Unknown... Mysteries at the Museum... but really The Walking Dead is the only one i try not to miss...

You Are One of My Nicest Thoughts.....
This past week has been a pretty humdrum week... Hubs working in the craftroom and at the neighbors....me caulking upstairs... invited the neighbors over for a meal.. enjoyed listening to the rain on the roof.... loving the cooler weather again... I even had time to answer a few letters.... So, my T people and everyone stopping by how has your week been? I sure do look forward to our Tuesday get togethers..... see you then!! Hugs! deb

Good morning, we got some much needed rain too-although the storms did not come through here again last nite as weather people promised.
I love listening to the peepers so much a sign of spring and I just love them.
I got a few butterfly and hummingbird plants in the ground yesterday-I had mail ordered them and they came in at the perfect time with the rain.
Hope I am not too stiff today to start painting the walls.
Happy Monday

I love the door drawing, Deb. "Just breathe" - perfect.

We had some hail last night plus a bit of rain. we get hail once or twice a year - usually in the spring. I think that's because the lake sits in a bowl of mountains. So this time of year, we have both cold and hot thermals.

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

We had three days of rain off and on but not as much as they predicted.
I love listening to the rain hit the roof too....and thunderstorms even better. When we lived in Dundas, ON which is a valley town, we loved to drive up the 'mountain' and watch the lightning strike the other side of the 'mountain'. (it is actually called Hamilton Mountain but those who live by the Rockies and other real mountains would call it a hill)
One night a police officer knocked on the window and scared the daylights out of me. He was worried about us but when I told him what we were doing he just looked at us like we were crazy.

Love you sketch, as always.

Believe it or not, we also got rain for the first time in two months. Now the ag people are saying since so much of the state burned, there was a strong chance of erosion with the rain. Kansas can't win.

I love what you are calling a sketch. To me, it's a genuinely beautiful piece of art. Very impressive.

Thanks for sharing your rain, your gorgeous garden gate, and your coffee with us for T this Tuesday.

Happy T Day. I just love it when the spring peepers come out. Can't wait to hear ours-maybe-eventually. I like the Walking Dead too, though I only started the series this past winter I haven't made it to latest episodes. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

You may say a sketch but that door page looks fantastic with the colouring.
Your rain sounds very welcome, here in the UK we are pleased when its dry for a while.
Happy T day.

I watched the first couple (or 3, maybe?) seasons of Walking Dead and liked it less as time went on. Now The Expanse is the show I arrange my week around :)

Happy T Tuesday!

Sweet journal page...soothing, and the stone bunny made me smile! i love Fixer Upper too, but have not brought myself to watch zombie shows. not my cup of tea I guess, but love any British mysteries for sure! we usually watch netflix and enjoy not having to sit through commercials. i think your idea to draw while watching tv is brilliant! happy T day!

We are getting some rain this week. It rained earlier and heavy fog moved in. The fog has lifted, but it is still grey. More showers on the way. We are also in a drought situation here in Massachusetts, but not as severe as other parts of the country.

Love your bunny statue. The door in your journal (to your journal?) is very welcoming. Lovely stationery, too.

the only show I was following was Supernatural, but they switched the day and time and I teach class when it's on. I'm woefully behind so will have to binge in front of the computer to catch up.

Have a great week and a Happy T Day

Oooh- pleased it rained for you but listening to peeper frogs would totally freak me out!! I know what you mean about finishing up your lined book - I have a book with squares that I add to occasionally - it is never 'away', just not used much! Good luck with the progress with your craft room! Happy T day! Chrisx

Love your sketch. I have been trying to sketch some things, but am a total flop at at drawing. I keep seeing things that I think I could draw, but so sad when I see the results of my attempt. Glad that you got some rain, and hope if it has been dry where you are that you get more... slow and gentle. Hope you are enjoying the spring weather!

Happy T Day! I am envious of your craft room. It looks like you will have lots of room to spread out. Your door is super cute. I love that whimsical style.
