T stands for arT, easTer, and crock poT........

.......but not necessarily in that order....

Found this little guy when we took that trip to TX last year... yep i've been hanging on to him for just the right moment...

He gets to make some little girl very happy i hope...

..there's nothing i hate worse than being tied to a stove... My crock pot is my very best friend in the kitchen...  slice two onions and cover the bottom....

lay boneless , country style pork ribs in one layer on top the onions

Pour a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce on top.....

Cover and forget about it for 3 1/2 - 4 hours.......

About an hour before its ready start thinking about your potatoes... peel them and cut them in wedges coat them with oil ... spray it or however you want to get the oil on there... I used olive oil but you use whatever you like... salt ,pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, basil... the kitchen sink...  :)   but don't forget the parmesan cheese... i think it really makes it..

400 degree oven for about 20 min. or until fork tender...

And now the art!!!  PostCard art that is.... Above is a brochure for a paint color... I thought it was so pretty... but how could i turn it into a PostCard other than just sending it as is??? That wouldn't be very crafty or artsy of me now would it...? lol

I hope you'll click the above image large so you can see how i chose a few things to paint.... Can you tell i painted some bottles and the flowers, the table, and bricks and the light bulbs .. This was so much fun!!! The paint went on and stayed on surprisingly well... Love that quote by Hemingway...

And last but not least for my T ladies some leftover pizza and some diet mt. dew... (an oxymoron i know) I meant to take the photo at the restaurant...brought my camera and everything and then forgot so... this is after we got home............ I hope you all have had a fabulous week...  Big Hugs! deb

OMGosh, that colorful dragon creature and your glittered eggs are fabulous! Some little girl will be very happy. I can almost hear the squeals of delight from here.

We've never had much luck with our crock pot. I think your recipe is one my hubby would like. So thank you for the illustrated directions. How can I go wrong? I might find a way ;-)

That paint color brochure photo was lovely. I wouldn't even have thought that I could improve upon it. But you did - about 1000%. I also love the Hemingway quote.

Happy T-day, Deb! Big hugs, Eileen

That crock pot looks like a real life saver! I use mine so much and always appreciate when I come home from work and dinner smells waft out at me. Makes arriving home so much easier! Looks like you are having fun with your post card art Deb! Very cute

I really like your glitter eggs. Great that you found glitter glue that sticks to those plastic eggs. I like the way you packaged the dragon, too.

Ironically, I have FIVE crock pots, one of which is dedicated to my craft room. But being a vegetarian, it's hard to find suitable crock pot meals. I DO like the potato recipe, though.

I adore what you did with your recycled post card. This is out of this world. I even love the bricks you painted over and outlined.

Thanks for sharing your crock pot recipe, your Easter gift, your lovely painted postcard, and your leftover pizza and Diet Mountain Dew with us for T this Tuesday. Hope all is well in your world. Mine is very wet.

I love your crock pot meal tips. We use our slow cooker in a similar way. Put it on in the morning and it will be good to eat in the evening. I'm all for saving time.
Its a beautiful painting and card.
Have a happy T Day.

Yes, I love my crocpot too. I would have liked to see what your finished pork dish looked like. I think it would be very nice especially with the roasted wedges.
Your card is wonderfully altered. I really like it. And Hemingway's quote is fab. I hadn't heard that one.
Haha, I so often take my camera and then forget to take a picture! I totally reconise that. Never mind.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

the little dinosaur will be a big hit. Thank you for the dinner idea. Love my crockpot. Now, I never would have thought about coloring over the magazine page. Clever. I especially love the cobalt blue vase.

Wonderful quote, but I had never heard the quote attributed to Hemingway. An interesting article on where the quote from here: http://quoteinvestigator.com/2016/11/16/light/

And I had to laugh when you said you forgot to take pictures of your food at the restaurant. Seems I can't remember my camera for T Day pictures until the food is half eaten. :-D Happy T Day
