T Stands for.........

...............I goT bored.......
The header picture WAS a black and white line drawing of the web with the colored spider..... then i got bored watching TV.. grabbed the markers that i seldom use.. and thats what happened.....

I thought the spider got lost in all that mess so i painted him black and you probably can't tell but i made him glossy too...It was such a beautiful morning i took it out on the back deck with me and my coffee and had a photo shoot..... i tried to catch the shine but i don't think it worked...

.... And this is what happens when SOMEBODY.... stays up all night running from open window to open window checking things out.... i think he has a hangover and yes he totally expects me to hold his butt up while he watches videos... he thinks its a privilege... oh and please don't look at the dust on that keyboard..
oy vey.....

Quick craft room update...... the second piece of counter top went in....

Then we moved everything that was over the other side to this side.. they say things always look worse before they look better... lol

And started taping and floating over this side....Its going pretty quick..knock on wood...

Since you will see the bottom of the sink in there i decided to paint it my go to color in this house... 'oil rubbed bronze'... I'll show you again once its installed...

And last but not least i wanted to share this picture i took of hubby yesterday....This hunk of concrete has been his nemesis for a while now... When the previous people built the deck on the back of the house they didn't take out the old concrete steps that had probably been there since the house was built.... Me? I probably would have left it... out of sight out of mind kind a thing... but hubby....it bothered him and honestly it stopped us from smoothing the dirt nicely under there and sloping the dirt away from the house like it should be...So after much effort our neighbor used his tractor and finally managed to drag it out from under there... (lets not dwell on the fact that he snapped our satellite cable in two and broke the deck in two places.... nope lets just move on... at least it got out from under there.....)
Then hubby got to go at it with his new toy and break it into manageable pieces..(you may ask... why not break it up first then move it.... that was hubby's call... when you are married to a wonderful but polar opposite of yourself.. you pick your battles...lol )  That picture looks a little David and Goliath to me... lol you?   Big thanks to Ms. Elizabeth and Bleubeard for hosting the T party this week and each and every week.... Its a wonderful place to share our lives with wonderful people... I really look forward to our time together every week... See you on Tuesday!! Hugs! deb

Ooo, I hope the deck and cable repairs won't be too costly or time-consuming. Oh well, at least that ugly hunk of concrete is out from under there.

Good thing you took a picture of the spider before you turned him black so you can do him again Because he's really cool! So is the rainbow web with the black spider.

Boy, the craft room is really moving along now. You must be itching to unpack the rest of your toys.

Happy T-day, girlfriend! Hugs, Eileen

I'm not a spider lover but I like your coloured web. Your craft room is going to be amazing!

I know what you mean about picking your battles...you have to with both husbands and teenagers. Yes, I would have either left it or broken it up first but men don't always think along the same lines as us. It would have bothered my hubby too to have it stuck there.

We finally had a spring day here with no rain and in spite of this virus I'm fighting off, I got some yard work done and Joe did a lot of clean up...and visiting with neighbours! We don't see much of them during the winter except for a wave here and there so today everyone was out visiting and doing yard work.

Love the spider and his very colorful web.
Not sure if I will post this week either, I've been so busy, this is the first time I've been on the PC in weeks. I have the GKs for today and tomorrow and then friends coming Wed...........so it might be next week.!!

am with you on things like that I have hubs make the call and then he can take responsibility for any mishap-lol I can see it is an eye sore for sure but I would personally have knocked it down first.
Loving your accomplishments in the craft room so far-and love your art piece too-I kinda liked it before the black-but then I do like the black too lol

Wonderful to see how well your craft room is coming along. You just stay inside and paint the bottom of that sink and let your husband handle that huge chunk of cement. I think my DH would secretly enjoy an opportunity to drag, smash and crush something like that.

I love the idea of coloring the spider web.i don't care for spiders am actually afraid of them as I have been bitten twice. The colorful webs makes your spider seem more friendly.

Your craftroom is going to be gorgeous. Amazing as you are organizing how much mess you make.

What is it with men and large objects? :-D When we put in the new well, the crew dug up a huge boulder. Me, just leave it in the front yard, we'll plant some flowers around it. Himself, Let's take a sledgehammer and whack it into little pieces. That didn't work so we planted flowers around it. :-D

Sorry I'm late visiting. I swear, I finally just collapsed and went to sleep for a few hours.

Your spider is lovely and SO colorful, but Jinx stole my heart today. He was so cute watching videos. Boy, can I relate to dust! That's why I've been cleaning.

I am delighted about the update on the new craft room. I think you should call it a STUDIO, though.

Laughed at the problems you had with the steps, but felt your pain about the broken deck and cable.

Thanks for sharing your art, your craft room update, your husband's nemesis, and Jinx and your coffee with us for T this Tuesday.

I nearly forgot to ask, may I add your blog to my left sidebar? I will only do so if you give me permission.

Love your colorful web (the spider is a bit to realistic for me!). Lovely to see your craft room coming together - I am in process of putting my own together but I don't think I'll be doing any construction. Just filling it will all sorts of artsy supplies!

Good to see the progress in your craft room and I liked reading the bit about the concrete block.
Happy T day.
