Shhhhh..... don't scare them.... (whispering) ... goodmorning my tea people....now if your quiet.... and be real still and enlarge these two photos you might just see a pair of twin fawns that are maybe 8 hours old......
......i stepped out on my back deck this morning to put out some birdseed when i see these two sweeties coming up out of the hollow behind our house... momma was already at the road... she tried to encourage them to cross the road but they were having nothing for it and walked along it instead eventually coming up into our front yard where little did i know it but hubby took some photos... (no way was i leaving to get the camera lol) that makes 3 fawns in two days... yesterday we roll over in bed and look out the window into a foggy morning and there was another momma and her hours old , barely able to walk fawn was trying to keep up with her... such a precious moment.... these moments i will treasure...
Remember the work in progress PostCard ....?
Here's the finished PostCard..... I tried and tried to get a nice photo of it and man! it did NOT want to photo well... finally i gave up and this is the best one...lol
I've had my nose in a book of late.... 'The Original Illustrated Sherlock Holmes ' Huge Sherlock fan here... The illustrations are by Sidney Paget and ofcourse the stories are by Arthur Conan Doyle... Above is a tea picture for my tea partiers... :)

Oh, those little ones are so precious!
Great colorful postcard.
I've seen various movies but have never actually read any Sherlock Holmes books.
Have a wonderful day! :)
What a special sight to see!
Just taking a moment to stop and wish you a Happy Mother's Day. Don't know if I will get to post for T-day........so much going on right now!!
Goodness. What amazing gifts you received for Mother's Day. The twins are adorable, and what fun to see three new babies this spring. There is hope all around, isn't there?
I adore the photo of Sherlock and Watson with the tea pot and cup. I am also a big fan of Sherlock Holmes. I have a book about several of his short stories, but haven't read them in a LONG time. I DO remember the Hound of the Baskervilles, and loved it from the start. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful Mother's Day post, and also for sharing this Holmes drinking tea picture with us for T this week.
how beautiful to have visitors like that..i like the colours on your painting
Oh my, the fawn twins are so adorable and how wonderful to see them at your home - so magical! Your artwork is gorgeous with the vibrant colours and the texture, there are so many beautiful details and I love the way you arranged those little butterflies too 😀. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊
I so love those fawns! They are just precious. Love the new postcard/header. Enjoy your Sherlock Holmes, I always loved those books. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

How wonderful to see those darling fawns right outside your window! Your postcard art is fab and makes a good header too. I've been tempted to watch the PBS Sherlock Holmes series but haven't -yet:) Happy T day!
How sweet those fawns are!
My husband is also a big Sherlock Holmes fan and loves the Paget illustrations.
Happy T Tuesday :)
The photos your shared are precious, so lovely to see the new born fawns. You are luck to live in that beautiful countryside.
The post card looks great and so does your new header.
Happy T day.
Yvonne xx
Those fawns are very cute. :) Sounds like you've been busy but having lots of fun. I need to find a book that I really love. Right now not much is exiting me. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
Love your post card...it turned out beautifully! and also the deer photos, looks so calm and serene. The whole 'crossing the road' thing is a bit worrying though... Happy T Day a bit late!
The photos are precious! It's so amazing that newborn mammals are up and walking almost immediately after birth. It makes me wonder what happened to humans evolution-wise that made us so weak and slow by comparison. Newborn babies can't even lift their heads for 4 to 6 months!
Another great postcard, Deb!
Where did you get that wonderful collection of Sherlock Holmes stories?! I don't know anyone who doesn't enjoy Sherlock Holmes and Watson.
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
I love seeing deer in my backyard although they are usually running so I don't get to stop and take pictures. I love your postcard! Those colors and patterns remind me of a Indian block print. So pretty!
Kate
Oh My! How wonderful! I love how you have used your beautiful postcard as your header! Belated Happy T day! Chrisx
