Happy 4th Blogaversary T ParTy!!!!

Can you believe it???  T partiers... somehow... somehow... I mailed off my ATC's and did not take one not ONE photo of them...How does that happen?? Anyway.. i hope Chris and Ms. Elizabeth will share when they receive theirs........ :)   Above is the latest origami adventure.... A DRAGON!!! I made a blog post earlier this week about that and i gave the link to the instructions... If your interested at all you can see that post here.........

This is the latest PostCard i made... Its all hand painted...If you were to tilt it the birdbath it has a copper sheen to it... I think the photo has it a little more yellowish than it is in person... This was a  challenge but alot of fun too..... I have alot to learn... but learning to paint with acrylics is something i want to do with the rest of my life... All the other crafts could fall away and this is what i would want to do.. that and draw, sketch.....  It feels good to know that about myself......

Do you see what i see??? OOOOoooOOooo is that a Keurig ??? Why yes.. yes it is.... I have a Keurig and i know how to use it...lol  I have wanted one for years.....  And AND look at that knob and pull on the kitchen cabinets... Hubby just finished the entire kitchen this weekend... all the knobs and pulls are installed... What a job! But i love them... Listen to this... We actually bought these knobs and pulls in CA to put on the cabinets there... never got around to it... but i loved them so kept them..... they were discontinued at Lowe's........ I only had so many.. Would i have enough for this kitchen??  I couldn't remember how many i had and they were packed... So i had my fingers crossed when i pulled them out and guess what ? I had one extra knob and one extra pull!!!Is that Serendipity or what..!! Happy happy 4 Anniversary my Tea People and Ms. Elizabeth and Bleubeard.... I look forward to many more!!! Hugs! deb

we had a doe and her twins visit one day last week-I think she was looking for the corn which I haven't picked up yet.

I love the bright colors of your hand painted postcard. And you seem excited about the Keurig. I've never used one so I don't quite understand the excitement, but they must be good because so many people love them. I'm glad you shared it though, because I do think I need to try one out sometime. Happy T day. Erika

I've forgotten to photo some of my cards, quilts and other art work too before they got mailed or given away so I feel your pain!

We don't have a Keurig...but only because when they first came out the little pods the coffee came in was not recyclable. I've been told by some friends that there are not recyclable pods so that's good. One of my friends and her hubby bought a motorhome last year. For Christmas they each bought each other a Keurig for the motor home - same model and colour. They had a good laugh over that one.

Enjoy your new Keurig and kitchen - glad you had enough hardware.

I'm busy playing catch up because the electricity went out on my block for about five hours. Now that I'm back on the internet, I'm not sure if I missed the internet or my AC more (grin).

I found your e-mail address without even having to ask for it, which made me happy. I certainly didn't expect an ATC from you, Deb, but I'm thrilled you thought of me, regardless. Of course, I'll gladly take photos when I receive it. And I'll let you know when it gets here, too. I've done that in the past, too. Somehow, I am in a hurry to get something in the mail and forget. But now I try not to forget, which doesn't mean I won't.

Your postcard is wonderful and beautiful, too. I wish I could paint, sketch, and draw as well as you. Even 1/100th as well would make me happy.

My shop-aholic foodie friend Sally has 3, yes THREE of those Keurig machines. She said they kept changing the pod size, so when she ordered new pods, she had to buy the machine if she wanted to use the new ones. Just a warning in case you plan to order yours. BTW, they now make a reusable pod that you can fill with your own coffee blend.

Thanks for sharing your postcard and your Keurig with us for T this Tuesday.

Your dragon is amazing and I loved popping over to your other post to see how you made it, great paper choice too 😀. Doing things that give you joy is important and knowing how awesome you are at drawing and painting I'm not surprised that is your preference. It shows in your finished artwork too, you can see the love you put into creating them! Your painting is lovely with the rich colours and I adore your Red Cardinal sitting there on the bird bath too 😁. Your new kitchen handles (knobs and pulls) look fabulous and you had me smiling at you new Keurig, am I right in thinking you love it ...Lol 😉. Wishing you a very Happy T Day! J 😊

I don't know how to make coffee, my husband does it and he uses a French Press. Really like your drawer pulls, glad you had enough to finish the job with one left over in case one "dies" on you.
What a beautiful card!

I did a bit of origami back in the day but never anything as elaborate as that dragon. Nice!

Happy T Tuesday

Love your painted postcard, Deb. So I guess we'll be seeing more acrylic paintings, maybe even a canvas once in a while. Nice. I haven't settled on one medium or art form yet. I'm happy to flit from one to another like a busy bumblebee ;-)

Enjoy your Keurig! Phew ... on the knobs and drawer handles ... you sure got lucky.

Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen

Your dragon is awesome. My Young One is a Dragon Lover so will have to point her to your directions. I love your postcard and the cardinal. I once heard cardinals are supposed to be visits from loved ones who passed. I always think of my folks when I see cardinals.Congrats on your Keurig. The Eldest is the only one who drinks coffee here. She loves her Keurig, too. Congrats on having enough pulls and knobs for this house. Was meant to be. Happy T Day

Your ATC is now in the hands of the Post Office. Let's see how fast it gets to you. I got mine when I got home this evening. I promise to photograph it before next T Tuesday, too.
