T Stands for ATC Reveal.....

...............last day of July, can you believe it??? or first day of August depending on when you read this...lol Summer is flying by and that suits me just fine...... Above is the lovely ATC i won over at Ms. Elizabeth's and Bleubeard 's.... Its not often i win a drawing like that so what a nice surprise!!  And Elizabeth assures me that it came wrapped in homemade paper... It really is amazing.

Valerie is my ATC partner and the beauty began with her envelope! And didn't stop there...........

This is the bag inside the envelope that held the goodies...

And while i love them all and i'm amazed at the attention to detail and finishing touches ... the one that grabs me is the Mary Poppins..Just love her.......... Thank you so much Valerie......

Well i have had my nose in the craftroom off and on all week.... Work on the house has been nearly nonexistent for the last month and let me tell you i have been soaking it up... Oh its not that the house is done... no no no.... we just needed to step back... personally , physically and financially.... Just for a while... I have so enjoyed just 'living' in the house... and not working on it... Oh hubby put the cabinet handles on and i've been painting some doors but nothing major..

I've been going thru boxes.... amazed at some of the things i forgot i had...lol

...And trying to arrange things where i think i can find them again.. Parting with a few things i know i will never use again....I have this habit that i want to make multiple of one thing.. .So i can keep one for myself and then sell the rest......... i don't think the sell part is ever going to come around so i need to quit hanging on to so much... Its a different way of thinking for me but its helping me clear out some things....

Did you notice the header???  Thats my roll top desk upstairs that i had all my art supplies on for two years.... Believe it or not it took a couple days to unbury that desk... carry the stuff downstairs and find a home for it... whew!!! To celebrate that i did something i've been thinking about doing for quite some time....  I started writing a book....... a scary , haunted house book.....OOOOoooo.....lol   i have decided to stop writing in my Journal that i've written in for over 30 years and put my writing energy into this endeavor......... I'm making it a habit.. just like my journal.. i sit down with a cup or two of coffee in the morning and just write... just keep adding to the story..And its been fun.... I have no idea where the story is going to go... i kinda think of things as i go along... In the end it might be a cohesive story or it might not...lol who knows.. But its been fun thinking of things that scare me.. things that go bump in the night.. and figuring out how to write that so it will scare someone else... So before you leave dear Tpartier... what scares you? Hugs! deb

Great that you are taking time out from working on the house and doing your own creating

It was terrific to see the lovely things from Valerie that you received she makes such wonderful parcels full of wonders.

The book idea sounds very good and what a great way to spend time writing it with your cups of coffee. I am picturing you there and I hope it all goes well

Happy T a Day

Love Chrissie xx

I think it was time to take a break in working on the house. It has zapped so much of your energy, finances, and artistic talent for so long, I think this is a welcome reprieve. And having your roll top desk back in order to write each day is a wonderful way to break the old habits and take up new ones.

I LOVE that cup. I wish we had that company where I live.

Valerie is beyond generous, isn't she? She is such a sweetie and packs her envelopes fill of wonderful and thoughtful gifts. You are one lucky gal. And yes, that is two pages of handmade paper, although the screens have degraded so badly, I won't be able to make more until I make new frames.

Thanks for sharing your gifts, your craft room, your new hobby, your roll top desk, and your Insomnia coffee mug with us for T this soon-to-be Tuesday.

What a wonderful package from Valerie. And I am happy to see how your craft space is coming along. It is really looking good. I guess you'll have lots of new creations of your own to show us soon. :) Happy T day. hugs-Erika

Glad you liked your little bag of goodies. Did you find the stencil that was tucked into the bag, too? What scares me? Having no books and no coffee and perhaps no crafting stuff to play with! It must be a wonderful feeling just to be able to live in the house now instead of having to work all the time - enjoy! Have fun with writing, reading and playing. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

Lovely happy mail! Those ATCs and other goodies are so beautiful 😀. Your craft room is looking amazing, I love the mood/chocolate saying on your sign and that blue frog is gorgeous. Nice to see you paints and other materials finding a home. It must feel a bit like Christmas opening all the boxes and discovering what's inside 😁. Your writing sounds like a fun creative way to spend your time. I have to say that I don't really like being scared, I know others get a buzz from it but I guess I'm not wired that way ... lol 😀. Horror films scare me and usually result in nightmares, let's just say that I have quite a vivid imagination ...lol 😉. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊

The ATCs and goodies are so pretty. Lucky you. I envy your craft space all new and organized. Sometimes you have to make time for yourself or you'll burn out. How fun to write a book! Enjoy the process. Have a Happy T Day

I -like you- am struck by the attention to detail I see in the ATCs. :)

A book! I'm impressed. I love a good ghost story. Those can be much scarier than the gore-filled stuff that sometimes passes as horror. Congrats on your effort, and I look forward to hearing how it comes out.

Happy T Tuesday!

Deb, the bag from Valerie is just gorgeous. My, she went all out! The Mary Poppins card caught my eye as well. Those books were my childhood favorites.

How fun to be delving into your stash that has been packed away all this time. I bet your mind is just spinning with new project ideas. Plus you're writing a book! You're just full of exciting news today. I'm so glad you're having time to simply enjoy the house and do whatever you please.

What scares me? The list is too long to share. So I'll just say traffic accidents. I'm a nervous car passenger and struggle to keep my eyes off the road so as not to cause my driver to have one! I hate seeing accidents and thinking about the injured or dead. On that pleasant note, I'll say ...

Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen

You two needed a break! Clearing out your desk was a big project in itself. And--writing a book--whoohoo!! Enjoy! Shifts and changes can be exhilarating. :)

I think taking a break is a good idea - just live for a while! Loved you new header and now I see that you are writing (even if it is scary!) which can only be good …and maybe part of that changing the way you keep things or not!! You have some lovely gifts…and maybe something else on the way!! Sorry I haven't shown your ATC yet - thought I would do an ATC post when Elizabeth's arrives!(didn't you receive my e-mail - I sent it via my phone so I may well have done something wrong!) Happy T Day! Chrisx

Whoops! Forgot to say - the Bond film was 'A view To a Kill! Oh! and I am scared of frogs(yes, I know…..everyone tells me they are cute!) and I'm not so happy about walking along unlit roads! Chrisx

Love the Atcs you received. Your craft room is awesome. I am working on organizing too, and trying to figure out a better way to group art supplies. Just finished a wonderful book with great advice for aspiring writers, writing with Quiet Hands by Paula Munier. Good luck with your book!

Stepping back for awhile was a great idea. You need to unwind and just live in the house for awhile.

You will so enjoy your craft room once its done. I keep organizing and reorganizing my crafting goodies and its still not working as efficiently as I would like. Lack of space is one factor.

Scared of something - I HATE spiders and I'm severely claustrophobic but that's about it.

The craft room is looking great. You have been working on the house non stop for a while so it's good to take a break. No journal but writing a book. Interesting. Can't help you out with the scary stuff. There's not much I'm scared of except maybe a snake pit. I used to be deathly scared of bees but that fear just disappeared. I have no idea why. I embrace ghosts. Think I have been visited several times. Course, I might feel differently if they had been scary ghosts. I got lots of stories I could tell you about them.
