Fingers, Toes, and EyeBalls.......

Hello all my fabulous T party people and everyone who stops by. I so appreciate your visits...and look forward to them every week...  The squirrel in the header was teasing (taunting) poor Jinx through the sliding glass door... I kept hearing this 'tap tap tap'...and when i looked Jinx and the squirrel were in a staring contest and every once in a while the squirrel would go 'tap tap tap' with his paw.. Sooo cute!

Amazingly i was able to finish a PostCard this week..( i would be embarrassed to tell you how long i've been working on this card) not the one i need to be doing but the one that got started before the one i need to be doing got started.. make sense?? lol   Anyway... I wanted to practice the flowers i need to put on hubby's painting... (aka The Hobbit Door) ... The tree came from a wine bottle label and the rest is just scraps and then the acrylic painted on flowers and 'perseverance' came to mind , something that has served me well in my life.........This card is going to our fellow Tpartier Krisha... who could maybe use a bit of perseverance right now as she builds her new house...

Then often while i 'am watching a video of someone paint on YouTube i will try my hand at sketching what they paint and this time i did it in Sharpie pen and not pencil.... no erasing here...  This was a video by Ginger Cook

.....another by Ginger Cook

And another by Ginger Cook......

This one above i believe is all me.....

This Sunflower is all me....

This little piggy is mostly all me but i did use a reference photo..below

Isn't this the cutest little pig EVER???? lol  Photo credit to Karen Kasmauski....  Well i'm sitting here in a little haze of satisfaction... I JUST finished woodburning the last tree on that 8ft long board...A few touch ups and then i have to do the scariest thing EVER... I have to stain it... I've stained alot of windowsills in this house but reguardless it still makes me a little nervous.. I really have no control over how the wood will take the stain... Its been well prepared but you never know and an awful lot of work went into that board for it to not turn out well.. Fingers crossed!! Or as i like to say... Fingers , Toes and Eyeballs!!! I hope you've had a wonderful week and i'll be by to visit!!! Happy T day Hugs! deb

Hi deb, Great art here-that's a neat idea to follow along on a you tube video-maybe I could try that--I think the staining will go well, where ever the stain goes it gives the piece character-a surprise in the end love that when I hand dye.
Too funny about the squirrel haha
Happy Sunday and Happy T Day Kathy

Wow, that is one brazen squirrel to tap on the door. They squirrels are really smart and I guess this one knew there was a door between him and your kitty. :) Your drawings are great and I agree with you about that piggie. Hope you have a super T day and Monday too. Hugs-Erika

That squirrel is hilarious. I bet it was trying to fake Jinx out.

I am in LOVE with your postcard, your paintings, and that card for Krisha. It's a beauty and so are all your artistic drawings. Your pig is truly adorable, too.

I'll keep my fingers, toes, and eyeballs crossed that the wood you have worked so hard to burn stains well. It looked great last week, so I hope it turns out well.

I want an Insomnia mug like yours. That is AWESOME. Thanks for sharing your art and your coffee with us for T this week.

I love that squirrel tap-tap-tapping on the door. Sounds like something out of a Beatrix Potter book. Your drawings are all wonderful, well done. That pig is totally cute. Good luck with staining the board, I'm sure it will go well. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

Thank you for the link you gave us here some time ago. And your own sketch ideas are fabulous - I love the little piggy. Well done on the woodburning and I cross my fingers for the windowsills.

Wishing you a very Happy T Day! J 😊

Oh, those squirrels! They can be cute, and they are smart, but they can also be a pain! Love the postcard and drawings-especially that adorable piggy:) I know my hubby will concur with you on the wood staining...hope it works out to your liking. Happy T day!

You are quite the artist, and I especially liked your sunflower and piggy.
Adorable squirrel in your header. We sit every morning and have our coffee and tea and watch the squirrels chase each other around the trunks of our trees in our backyard. We can see them through our French doors. Happy T Day!

That squirrel looks so cute tapping on the door, was he hoping to get some peanuts for a treat.
I loved your drawings, especially the horse and the piggy .
Krisha will love the card.
Happy T day wishes.

Hello! That squirrel is so brazen! I remember squirrels stealing food off patients' food if we sat outside. So cheeky.
I am keeping fiongers and toes crossed but I am sure it will turn out well. Wood will stain the way it wants and not the way you want, so whichever way it turns out, it will be the right way as that is the way the wood will turn.
Love the piglet!
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Squirrels can be so entertaining along with annoying. They tease our dog and cats through the patio doors too.
Your art is fantastic this week! I need to start drawing again .. I am so out of practice. It doesn't take long to get rusty.
Yes that piglet is adorable and your sketch is too! My Mom has a pig statue in her flower garden that I want to steal so bad. It's so cute ♥
Happy T Day and have a great week!!!

Love the postcard, Deb. Perseverance is a great word for a card that took a lot of it - lol. Your sketches are terrific! Especially the lily pond and the sunflower in a pot (that should be on canvas if you ever decide to tackle another after the Hobbit door).

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
