Look Who Came to T!! ......

.........Isn't he the most adorable little guy???!! I was making little kissing noises and he would stop and look at me...

.....First time i've seen him up on the deck.... He has many names... 'Chip' , 'Dale', 'Alvin', ' Simon', 'Theodore'...lol

He sure gets around.... or maybe there's more than one... :)

Filling those little cheeks....

Pssst... hey .. do you think that guy was trying to keep us out of here???

Hey.... do you think we should tell him it's a lost cause.... Violet..if your visiting... Its another failure.... lol  Actually hub's has revamped it yet again from this photo and they STILL get up..  It's still us against the squirrrels and crows.. And they are definitely winning...

Look what happened over the weekend!!! Woot woot!!! Now my island matches my countertops..

We still need to trim it out.. and make it look pretty but wow! Isn't it just awesome??!! It went on alot easier than we were imagining.. thank goodness.. Just some spray adhesive and a big heavy brayer.. so far so good..  I hope the Dove at the birdbath and cute little Chippie and the Pesky Squirrels eating birdseed will suffice for my T party requirements as i have no drink photo handy this week.. I'm so glad you stopped by and i'll be around to visit you soon... Happy T day Hugs! deb

Are they chipmunks Deb? Certainly not an animal we have here unfortunately as they are so cute.

Very cool for your island!
we have not seen a chipmunk for some years now-but we started to spot them again this month. They are adorable but they can get into all kinds of mischief-eating plant bulbs among other things-the squirrels aggravate my husband but I enjoy them I don't put feeders out back any more because of them though
Happy T Day Hugs

Oh my, we also have chipmunks and squirrels. Do we ever! My husband thinks the nest blocking the air vents in his car was from chipmunks. Uh oh! I just think every creature has to eat and survive. Your mourning dove photo is beautiful. We have lots of those too, and I love their cooing sound.

Of course I'm around. I get a notice every time you post something so I never miss a post.
It's hard to keep them out of the feeders. I read somewhere that someone bought one of those Slinky's from the dollar store and fastened it around the pole somehow so I did a Google search and found it - http://abc7.com/society/slinky-solution-devised-to-keep-squirrels-from-bird-feeder/1667973
Even if you don't use the trick, its funny to watch.

Oh, I LOVE chipmunks, too! They're actually cuter than my ground squirrels. (Don't let them know I said that.)

Nice counter top! :)

Thanks for the chipmunk "Christmas Song" ear-worm, Deb. Lol. Terrific photos. They look so cute. Too bad they're such thieves of the birds' food.

Your island looks terrific with its fancy new top. Woot! Is that a drink glass I spy at your desk or just paint water? Either way, I think it counts for T. As we all know, artists sometimes drink their paint water ;-)

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

Sorry I'm late visiting. My internet just came back on and I saw who came to T, so had to stop by. Too bad the squirrels haven't gotten the memo about staying out of the bird feeder, but LOVE the idea about the slinky. That would deter them for awhile, I bet.

Your new island top is gorgeous. I can't wait until it is finished. I certainly looks good already.

Thanks for sharing your furry friends who came to T and your new island topper with us for T this nearly Tuesday.

OMG- those relentless squirrels -agh!! But, we do make exception for -yes- Chippie, Alvin, Simon, Theodore- oh we do name them that too- not knowing if they are just a pair scampering about ;) Your island topper looks fab!
Happy T day!

Your animal visitors look so cute, they may be unwelcome at times but they sure do find a way to get to free food. The photos look great.
You island table looks awesome, it is going to be a super work surface.
Happy T day wishes.

Your new island top is simply AMAZING
- just gorgeous.
Oh they all are hungry .
I had to order new birdfood recently as they all including the lovely squirrels are so hungry right now and please don't ask what that costs meanwhile as it was again quite a lot of food. But I love all my amazing visitors here in the garden! And they seem to love my wildlife restaurant and that's what counts and makes happy!
Happy T-Day Deb!

The chipmunks are funny to watch. Amazing how big their heads get when the stuff their cheeks full of seed. Such a pretty picture of the mourning dove take a break at the bird bath. Happy T Day!

Your island is going to be gorgeous when completed. I love the spiraling wood piece down the side. It adds so much character. Can't wait to see it when completed.
Happy Tea Day,

I spent ages fighting the losing battle against the chipmunks and have decided to embrace their cuteness. Except for the fact that they eat every bit of what I put out for the cardinals ...

Y'all are making great progress! Happy T Tuesday!

Sorry to be late, we went out yesterday morning, came back - had lunch and went out again! I love the little chipmunk and the squirrels - neither of which are a problem for our bird tablet the caravan but I wrapped some string around the roof supports the other day to stop the crows and pigeons - we'll find out tomorrow whether it worked! Belated happy T Day! Chrisx
